I love lines, their complexity and movement. On one hand, I feel drawn to dramaticism and, on the other hand, simplicity of the black and white images, and I love creating such drawings with ink. At the same time, I love the playfulness of all the other colours. The images I create in colour tend to be quite vivid. For that I use soft pastels, oils and watercolours.

The ink work that I do is often quite structured. I am not an architect, yet I love constructing the images and marking each element clearly. I’ve been told that it’s fascinating to look at my drawings since the lines take the eye on a journey where one constantly finds new details and re-creates the image again and again.
